Yes, that's right, I'm dating again. I told R. this morning that I was going out with my boyfriend today. I told her she needed to be a good girl for grandma while I'm gone.
"Where are you going mama?"
"I'm going out on a date with my boyfriend."
"Where?"
"We are going to see the new Harry Potter movie."
"Are you going to have popcorn?"
"Of course."
She stops and thinks for a minute.
"Your boyfriend is going on a date too?"
"Yes with me. Should I kiss him?"
"Yes! On the lips!"
I giggle.
"Where's daddy? Is he working?" she asks very matter-of-factly.
"Silly girl, he's my boyfriend!"
I know, I know, one of these days I'll pay when the kids make me go on Jerry Springer.

hehe, sounds like the hubby and me. we are always joking like that. If I call his work and they ask who it is I always reply, "His other wife," or "the mistress." No one knows how to take us, but we sure have fun.
Did you enjoy the movie? My hubby and I saw it yesterday and loved it!
I was so tickled to see how many "dates" were going on at the movies when I went to see HP. There were way more adults then kids.
I hope you had a great date!!!
cute! date nights are so important. i used to be really good about having one once a month (even if it was just watching a movie in the basement after th kids were in bed). i need to get back on it!
how was the movie?
We've been doing date night on Mondays so we can learn how to dance, although my "boyfriend" says I'm not allowed to divulge this information. I guess it's cool to know how to dance, just not to take dance lessons. Ooops, I guess I just let it slip.

What did you think of the newest one?
LOL!!!
I call my husband my boyfriend, too;)
That's so cute! How was the movie? Hubby and I haven't gone yet as this was campus week!
LOL
This reminds me of all the times my hubby and I tease the kids about kissing - "you better not be kissing my BOYfriend!" or "are you kissing my GIRLfriend!" and they always laugh and say they aren't, and then secretly kiss us anyway...
I like the little silly moments we create with our kids. Every family is different and hopefully just as silly as the next!
Oh, we are long overdue for a date night! Sounds wonderful! Hope you had a great evening!
The movie was awesome! I love the Harry Potter movies and I think this was the best. It was dark though. Not a movie I would let the kids see, though they have seen the others. Just more violent and probably too scary for them. Mr. Schmitty and I had a great time!
