This is my beautiful daughter, with our new family pet, whom we adopted from the ASPCA. Izzy is 4 months old and the sweetest kitten in the world. She is very calm and affectionate. She came home this afternoon and is as in love with the kids, as they are with her. She is confined to the boy's room for a few days until she is more comfortable. As you can imagine, the boys are completely THRILLED with the arrangement!! (As I'm typing this, Izzy is curled up in bed with W. and they are both fast asleep.)
We are sloooooooowly introducing Ruby and Izzy. A few, supervised moments at a time. This may take a while.

We adopted a cat form them back in October! His name is Monkey, yes, very confusing to the kids! But we love him to death! I never thought I'd be a cat person, but Monkey changed all that!
Enjoy your new furry family member ;~p
What a pretty kitty! I'd love to get a cat, but Hubbz is not having it. Cat hater!!
Boo is sitting behind me going: awwwwwwwwww
Now she will want a cat...we just got a darn dog. lol
congrats on your new addition. She is gorgeous!!
What a cute dog! Cat too, but I'm much more of a dog person. I'm sure they'll be great friends before you know it.
You just reminded me of when we introduced our big dog to our little cat. Dog wound up running away yelping. Too funny.
Good luck with that! And congrats on the new family member. :)
A very happy welcome to spider kitty!
Izzy is adorable! Congratulations on your new family member!
I'm curious to see how it goes. I can't imagine my dog tolerating a kitten....
How sweet! We are all allergic to cats and won't ever get to have one. :(
my cat actually likes boxing with my chihuahua's.
Hope the acclimation goes well. Very cute pets. (And even cuter daughter!)
She's cute! We have three cats. The fat one just breathed in my general direction for the last 10 minutes. She really does smell like a sewer plant. But....I love these cats. We also have a dog who thinks he's a cat. He sleeps right at our feet at night...well, at Hubby's feet. Right behind his knees more accurately. I move too much and it drives the dog crazy.
awwwww. that is a really cute kitten!
